1. First, enter you bill information under the page "Bills". Start with the name, due date, and the average amount. Bills that get paid on a quarterly basis get entered below follow the same steps.
2. Any loans, credit card, or other bills can go in the bottom section. Enter the same information here but also add the grand total of the bill if it's a credit card. The Money Minder will show the grand total amount decreasing when the bill gets paid on it's due date.
3. The Date Adjustment column allows you to offset the due date of up to five days before or five days after to accommodate any mailing delays or payment on weekends. The Date Adjustment is independent of other bills but cannot be set for each individual payment date of the same bill. That's where the Adjustments page comes in, shown in step 9.
4. Over to the right side under Paycheck Information, add in your pay rate frequency, average paycheck amount, the date that you get paid next, and the amount of funds you currently have to start with. Please note that the Money Minder works completely offline and does not transmit any sensitive data whatsoever to another source. You can import a second Money Minder spreadsheet into another to show combined expenses and income, but that is always done manually and by choice.
